This workshop is designed for beginners who want to develop their wine-tasting skills.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of wine tasting, including how to evaluate wine's appearance, aroma, taste, and finish. They'll also discover common wine varietals and styles, such as red, white, sparkling, and sweet wines. Your sommelier will guide you through the steps of professional wine tasting while also explaining how to use your nose and palate properly in order to recognize aromas and flavors.
Activities:
- Guided wine-tasting sessions with 6 wines (2 whites, 2 reds, 1 sweet, 1 sparkling)
- Explanation of wine terminology and how to describe wine flavors.
- Tips on pairing wine with food.
Learning Outcome:
You will practice how to analyze and describe wine professionally while also learning about some major grape varieties as well as certain wine-making processes that affect the flavors in wines.
From Grape to Glass: Systematic Tasting
The level of interest in a wine workshop can vary among participants, therefore we cater to both beginners and more experienced wine enthusiasts to ensure that everyone finds value and enjoyment in the experience.
A minimum of 8 participants is required to run the course, If less, then the difference should be paid according to the minimum price.
Although we like to work with smaller groups (under 20), there is no maximum limit for the workshops.
