Our sensory analysis workshop, where we unravel the mysteries of the five essential flavors. 

Guided by an expert sommelier, you'll embark on a journey of taste discovery, discerning the nuances of sweetness, acidity, bitterness, saltiness, and umami tasted with 4 wine varietals. 

Through engaging tastings and interactive exercises, you'll refine your palate and gain a deeper understanding of how these flavors interplay in each sip. 

 

Activities:

  • Guided, interactive tasting of flavors and 4 wines (white, red, sparkling, sweet)
  • Wine and food pairing theory:  ‘Match made in heaven or hell’
  • Basic rules of food and wine pairing 

 

Learning Outcome:

You will elevate your wine appreciation and become a more discerning connoisseur, as you learn the art and science of sensory analysis and understand how flavors work.

  • The level of interest in a wine workshop can vary among participants, therefore we cater to both beginners and more experienced wine enthusiasts to ensure that everyone finds value and enjoyment in the experience.

    A minimum of 8 participants is required to run the course, If less, then the difference should be paid according to the minimum price. 

    Although we like to work with smaller groups (under 20), there is no maximum limit for the workshops.
