Service Description
Master the art of Champagne with the official Champagne Specialist Course developed and managed by the Comité Champagne, guaranteeing accurate, up-to-date content and a truly global perspective. Over two immersive days, you'll explore Champagne’s history, production, tasting techniques, and food pairing strategies. The course concludes with a certification exam, equipping you with the skills to confidently recommend and discuss Champagne. What you'll learn: • Champagne's viticulture and vinification • How to describe and assess Champagne • Understanding and interpreting Champagne wine labels • Pairing food and Champagne, and making a Champagne wine list • Storage and service of Champagne The course is perfect for: • Professionals, sommeliers, wine-industry workers, and wine enthusiasts with a strong understanding of wine Required Prerequisites • Champagne Education E-Learning Level 1 & 2 (Complimentary online courses from Comité Champagne) • WSET Level 2 Wines or Court of Master Sommeliers Intro Certificate or Wine Education Sparkling Wine Preparation Course Registration includes: • 14 hours of world-class classroom instruction and the guided tasting of at least 14 quality Champagnes • Official Champagne Specialist Workbook • Printed Certificate for those who pass the Final Assessment • Lunch will be provided Course Dates & Times: All classes at 9:30 am – 6:00 pm Second date includes the Final Assessment Final Assessment: • Theoretical Exam: 1 hour, 30 multiple-choice and open questions • Practical Exam: 1 hour, Blind Tasting of 2 Champagnes. The candidate must describe the tasting characteristics, write a positive presentation for the client, and propose a food and Champagne pairing.




















Cancellation Policy
Course Booking & Cancellation Policy 1. Eligibility Participation in our courses is limited to individuals 18 years of age or older. 2. Booking and Payment A place in the course is confirmed only after full payment has been received. All course fees include study materials, course books, and the examination fee, unless otherwise stated. No additional costs are required for these components. 3. Cancellation Policy Participants may cancel their booking up to 14 days before the course start date and receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course begins are not eligible for a refund. In such cases, the participant will be transferred to the next available course session at no additional cost. If a participant cannot attend individual sessions due to personal circumstances, missed sessions cannot be refunded. 4. Course Transfer Participants who cannot attend a course may request one transfer to the next scheduled course date. Additional transfers may be subject to administrative approval. 5. Intellectual Property & Study Materials All course materials, including books, handouts, presentations, and digital content, are protected by copyright. It is strictly prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, photograph, scan, or share course materials, including posting images of the content online, without prior written authorization. Unauthorized use or distribution of course materials may result in removal from the course without refund and potential legal action. 6. Conduct During the Course Participants are expected to maintain professional and respectful conduct throughout the course. The following behaviors are not permitted: Cheating or academic misconduct during examinations or assignments Disruptive behavior during sessions Repeated lateness or absence without notice Violation of intellectual property rules Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the course without refund. 7. Photography and Social Media Participants may take and share photos during course sessions only with the approval of the course conductor and with respect for the privacy of other participants. 8. Course Changes The organizer reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to course schedules, instructors, or locations if necessary.
