Accredited sommelier study path from intermediate to advanced diploma level

Internationally recognized, multi-level sommelier program by the International Sommelier Guild (ISG), progressing from Intermediate (IWC) and Advanced (AWC) to the Sommelier Diploma, and offering comprehensive global wine theory, tasting, service and wine business training for a career in the international hospitality industry.

IWC

Intermediate Wine Certificate

24 hours ·

7 sessions

Fee: CHF 1’000.-

  • Open entry – no prior qualification required.

  • Final written and tasting exam at the end of the course.

AWC

Advanced Wine Certificate

48 hours ·

13 sessions

Fee: CHF 2000.–

  • Entry with completed IWC  (or equivalent).

  • Pass requires at least 60% in each exam (theory and tasting).

SDP

Sommelier Diploma Program

308 hours ·

30 sessions

Fee: CHF 9’000.–    

  • Entry with completed AWC (or equivalent) and ≥70% in each AWC exam.

  • Multiple written, tasting and service exams throughout the program.
