In this comprehensive course, you will learn about the important wine-growing regions of the old world.
We will discuss the climatic conditions, the significant grape varieties grown, and the resulting wine styles.
The course provides a solid theoretical knowledge and we recommend it as a foundation for all further advanced courses.

During our session, we will taste and evaluate:
· Aromatic white with high acidity and low alcohol
· Aromatic white with high acidity and medium alcohol
· Barrel aged white from warm climate
· Rosé
· Single varietal light bodied red
· Complex red blends
